APPRECIATION – RIDE THE CRATER 22/8/’10

Oi Marc!
Slow boats are the best – we all have big brass balls otherwise we would not be doing this – take the long long road less traveled and you ll see what GS riding is all about. Those sandy sections WILL bite you badly if you don’t concentrate!
Leaving the racing for the track days

PS Alan is Swiss and is not wired correctly either ;-) None the less I think the group rode very well.
Happy days
Ryan

Hi Ray
Ja,Great ride.As you know I have been mostly on Track and road bikes for the last 20 years,I have ridden a GS on the road before and enjoyed it but got a bit bored after a while,I must say that I have a new respect for the GS now where the bike really comes into it’s own off road, the way it adapts to different terrain is awesome. I must admit that I got a bit to comfortable sometimes and nearly saw my arse a few times especially on the last sand road trying to stay with Alain. It was also lekker to have some flat out runs on the tar with some of the guy’s.I don’t know if it is possible on that ride but it would also be lekker to have a slower more technical section as well. As Arnold once said "I’ll be back"
Alway’s remember to ride safe until someone comes past you then do what ever it takes to get past him
Txs Again for a great day and best nights sleep I’ve had in a long time !!!!
